Mariner out of Houston is the owner, for now.  13 men on the rig, in the water...rig is burning.
Of note:  Apache started proceedings in April 2010 to buy the Vermilion Rig....

Something is unusual here, two days ago an EQ in Oklahoma, now a rig explosion.
