I have yearned to do something similar for years--& via boat. I've traveled while home schooling but only on land & never gone more than a year at a time. Great experiences.
My wish for anyone reading this BC (before children) is that they will have the opportunity to do something simlar--even if just for a semester, a couple of months, or simply all the "vacation" weeks that can be piled together--and it becomes one of their best experiences too.
