Hi Thirty;
  Full moon of June, doesn't look good, in fact looks bad, haven't we got an Eclipse on Sat. the 26th? I will check my Nautical Almanac later to make sure.

We do have a partial Lunar Eclipse on the 26th, not only that but others are calling for a major quake this weekend, and 11 days later, a Solar eclipse, and just to top it all off, an astrological Grand Cross hits on the same day.
  I am going to hide under the bed until Sunday afternoon Wink

Yes, partial lunar full moon eclipse for most of North America at moonset tomorrow morning at about 04:47 Pacific daylight savings time.
 Add an astrological Grand Cross, and a Comet nearby, and tomorrow morning should be very interesting.  I will be looking at the Calexico-Mexicali area closely.

In effect now through 8/26/10 per Frank Condon who has his schedule @ http://www.syzygyjob.com//index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=35&topic=258361.new#new

(Seems like it has been relatively quiet lately--like the quiet before the storm.)

Agreed shy....I'm looking at the shake map for today...and the first thing through my head was...deep breath in, just before all hell breaks loose.

I'll go read Frank this eve!

Frank Condon posts the following FROM SIDC - RWC BELGIUM along with a great picture @  http://proba2.sidc.be/swap/data/qlviewer/SWAPlatest.png

"Geomagnetic activity is expected to reach active level conditions by the end of Aug. 24th, due to a coronal hole becoming geoeffective."

Shy , Thirty, you are way ahead of me today, in addition to the Mexican quake, now we have a Mag. 4 just west of Catalina Island, and a 2.2 near Everett, Washington.
  Frank is right, it is going to be an interesting Lunar-Tidal stress window.
