Solar-LunarTidal Stress Advisories
«
on:
April 13, 2010, 11:31:08 AM »
April 13 - 19 are the dates Frank Condon gives for his "Solar-LunarTidal Stress Advisory: New Moon's Arrival" @
http://www.syzygyjob.com//index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=35&topic=257566.new#new
He says this stress along with solar flare activity is "putting
more stress on already over-stressed tectonic plates"
increasing the probability of a moderate to strong eq.

Good Post Shy!
We needed a thread on the Lunar Tidal stress advisories, Interesting he included the Solar Flare, and interesting he mentioned San Simeon;
In one of the Bot's Alta reports, they said first Mexicali/Calexico, and then San Simeon.

RE: San Simon
There have been 3 small eq (2.0 & lower) near San Simon (w/i 16 mi) since the beginning of this solar-lunar-tidal stress advisory.

PRESTO FROM SIDC - RWC BELGIUM Wed Apr 14 2010, 1221 UT
A CME linked to the eruption of a polar crown filament was detected on April 13 by LASCO and other coronagraphs. It is partially halo, with a main propagation direction to the North of the ecliptic plane.
There is a risk that the southern flank of the CME crosses the Earth, triggering enhanced geomagnetic activity, not before late April 16 or more likely on April 17.

Yep, got one coming up, on Wednesday, a full moon advisory, not only that but George ure has a watch for a big LA Earthquake on a Wednesday, I will be watching closely, and will have the bug out bags by the front door. So happy I don't live in LA anymore.

Lunar Tidal stress advisory for the New Moon, tomorrow.
BTW, all of you who read George Ure with your morning coffee are well aware of his "LA Wednesday" prediction. He was certainly right on about the GOM Oil blowout and fire. Tomorrow is Wednesday.
Shy gets up earlier than I do, in a different time Zone, she can make tomorrow's first post.

a 4.3 was recorded yesterday off of San diego, offshore.
In addition to the Lunar-Tidal stresses, a CME left the Sun a few days ago, should be hitting the earth tomorrow, or Friday.

6.1 Costa Rica, this hour, the Moon has started to wane, however these are not normal times, so this one can go into the Lunar tidal stress advisory basket.

I was wondering if what use to be frequent magnitude 5's were becoming frequent magnitude 6's when seeing the following three mag 6+ quakes w/i <24 hr. (inc Mizar's Costa Rica 6.1) without any magnitude 5's at least so far
