Digital Electricity Usage Power Meter.   Cost is about $25.00 at Harbor Freight.

Is your Electric Bill going sky high?  Do you need to cut back on electrical usage?

This unit will show you how much electricity you are using for TV's (when no one is really watching it), electrical space heaters, etc.

That's a good thing to have.

I have a Kill-A-Watt Power Strip which I used to help me in sizing my battery rig.

The Kill-A-Watt unit measures power-factor and also has a timer, but it does cost more.

Try it out on your electric coffee pot for a real shock (pun intended).

 Undecided  ( hee20hee20hee)

But seriously...I had a heart to heart with the power company about this time last year.  I learned (the hard way, of course) just how much kw goes for electrical items, even at rest.  (Plugged in and not turned on).

Ack.  Wish I'd had the $25 meter then....
