The W.T. Kirkman #2 Champion lantern is out of stock, and won't be available again until around June 2012.

The factory in China, that makes the W.T. Kirkman and Dietz lanterns, is closing so that it can be rebuilt.

Dietz lanterns are also getting sold out.  If you want a substitute for the #2 Champion, then the Dietz #80 Blizzard would be a good choice.  The #80 Blizzard is basically the same lantern as the #2 Champion, as far as light output goes, but the #2 Champion has a thicker globe and a burner  that contains brass.   However, the Dietz #80 Blizzard is also getting scarce.
