Good article, and yes indeedy he was trying to torpedo the USD and substitute SDRs.

His success at that would have been disastrous for Americans' oil purchasing power, not sure if the SDRs would actually help anyone else.  I'm a little leery of these guys who have been sooo productive for their IMF masters suddenly having 'death bed conversions', but who knows what is in a man's heart? 

France's Sarcoma...err Sarkozy probably greased the skids under Strauss-Kahn as well, since DSK was his most likely opponent next election.  I threw part of my poll vote to 'political smear' because of this.  Everyone deserves a fair trial, no exceptions, and I really hope he gets it.  I read he's going for a 'consensual sex' defense, should be entertaining.
