Thanks for posting cobalt!
It's on the msm wires now. Obviously our US nuclear specialist president will want to update his presentation to nation.

Santa Cruz harbor to share in $6M labor grant: Tsunami recovery efforts continue with pile driving
J.M. BROWN
SANTA CRUZ - Two months to the day after a tsunami ripped through the Santa Cruz harbor, damaging docks and sinking 10 boats, the U.S. Department of Labor announced Wednesday it has awarded Santa Cruz and Del Norte counties nearly $6.5 million in grants to hire temporary recovery workers. . . .
The funding is separate from the much larger federal disaster assistance requested by the Port District to cover an estimated
$28.5 million in damage to public infrastructure at Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor
.
Crescent City's harbor in Del Norte County sustained about $20 million
in damage from the March 11 tsunami that was triggered by a 9.0 earthquake off the coast of Japan. . . .

Tsunami Jitters Pierce Calm After 6.7 Quake
http://blogs.wsj.com/japanrealtime/2011/06/23/tsunami-jitters-pierce-calm-after-6-7-quake/
. . . . . If
Japan’s
14th quake above magnitude 6.5
since March 11
–at the time of publication, there have been
1,341 in total
, according to
www.japanquakemap.com
–didn’t bring too much concern in itself, the accompanying tsunami warning was different.
Although the
height of the wave warning was moderate
, at 50 centimeters, it happened to
coincide with high tide
. That provided an unwelcome reminder that many coastal cities in the disaster zone now already flood during high tide because the March 11 earthquake caused the
shoreline to drop.
With the lifting of the tsunami alert at 07:45 a.m. came relief. But not before
coastal towns
like Kamaishi and Ofunato had
issued evacuation orders for 6,000 and 2,000, respectively
, of their residents along the shoreline.
