coincidence or correlation--Baha & S Alaska quakes

Though not unusual for there to be many quakes in Baha/x. Calif. & Alaska, the last several days there seems to be a high temporal correlation between quakes in these areas.

Noted. Get the feeling we've got a good sized one on the way, and darn soon.
shy, what does Frank Condon have to say? I'll be very surprised if he's not talking "west coast (or rim) major" very soon. I've been watching the world wide 5.0 + shakes all day....they're turning up everywhere. Something's on the way for sure.

There was a 4.0 or so in Northern Alaska today, what else is on the way?

hmmm, that's interesting shy. In my experience, there's often a correlation between quakes in Alaska and movement here in MT, so it follows it could be seen in CA as well.
Personally, I feel that all the world's plates are locked down tighter than Dick's hatband, and yeah 30, something's on the way to US this time around.
Tough to call it between West Coast and NMSZ, but my feeling is New Madrid - and soon (Dec-Jan window). FWIW, just intuition.
