I think it would be a good idea, if others are in agreement.  The tin foil section.

Lahs yes, why not?  I'm thinking tin foil hats all around for Christmas this year!  lol

Think Wayne Madsen has the best theory I've seen so far on this missile (and yes, it was a missile from all expert accounts, oops... except those issuing forth from the furiously backpedaling military dis/mis-info spigots):

Pentagon and its embedded media covering up Chinese show of force off LA

Here's another not-so-subtle message from China to US:

<snip>
Analysts believe Beijing was sending a message to America and the West demonstrating its rapidly-growing military capability to threaten foreign powers which try to interfere in its "backyard".

The People's Liberation Army Navy's submarine fleet includes at least two nuclear-missile launching vessels.

Its 13 Song Class submarines are extremely quiet and difficult to detect when running on electric motors.

By some strange coinkydink,  I watched one of my favorite movies yesterday,  Down Periscope which is about a tired and retired diesel sub going up against the US Nuclear Sub fleet blowing up a dummy target ship in Norfolk harbor as a war game exercise.  The movie is a comedy, but it sounds like the Chinese must have seen it also.
